Michael Apted joins Saville Productions

Los Angeles-based production company Saville Productions has announced the signing of acclaimed director Michael Apted for commercial representation in North America. Apted is well known for his Up Series of documentaries as well as helming features including James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Gerard Butler-fronted Chasing Mavericks. During his career the director has picked up several accolades including a Grammy, Directors Guild Award and British Academy Awards. The director has served as a three-term elected president of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). He is currently the secretary-treasurer for the DGA.
