New York-based production and animation company Not To Scale has announced the signing of veteran commercial director Erik Buth to its roster of international filmmakers. The move reunites Buth with executive producer Santino Sladavic whom the director worked with while at Blind. Buth has recently helmed spots for brands including Sweet ‘N Low, MX vs. ATV, Russell Athletic and Sealy. Previously he has created title sequences for films including Enemy of the State, The Thomas Crown Affair and Lost Souls, as well as directing spots for Intel, Showtime, and a theatrical trailer for Dolby Digital.
