Fresh from a run of success on the festival circuit, BAFTA-winning director Mikey Please’s latest short film Marilyn Myller is now available to watch online, in full.
The six minute animated film tells the tale of an artist trying really hard to make something better than she could ever have imagined. It features the voice of comedy whizz Josie Long, lots of hand-carved tiny things, foam puppets, two eyefuls of in-camera, long-exposure light trickery and a pair of tiny dolphins smooching.
The film won the Public Choice award at the British Animation Awards and the coveted McLaren award for New British Animation at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
