All is not as it seems in this laugh-out-loud spot from Leo Burnett for Freeview.
Produced by Stink and directed by Ne-O, the fate of the pet budgie seems all but inevitable as a household cat approaches his cage... but in a very strange turn of events the meeting becomes the start of a beautiful friendship - much to the surprise of the pet's owner who looks on in wonder.
“With this campaign we want to show consumers just how brilliant entertainment that is free can be," explains Guy North, marketing communications director at Freeview.
#catandbudgie will premiere tonight (14 February) on Channel 4 before being widely broadcast across UK TV Channels throughout March.
