The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo: Opening Credits

You may have heard about a film that came out recently starring some unknown actor that's an adaptation of some book that no one's ever heard of. Something to do with tattoos and dragons or something...Ah, who are we kidding? Unless you've been hiding under a rock the phenomenon of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo can't have escaped your notice. The director of said movie, David Fincher, approached the brilliant Blur Studio to create the opening title credits and Fincher's got form when it comes to the credits of his films (Se7en being a stand-out example). But these credits give Se7en a run for its money, not surprising considering that the mandate from Fincher to Blur was a simple instruction; "All I'm asking you to do is reinvent any expectations of what a title sequence should be." They didn't disappoint.
