As 72andSunny continues to grow globally in its 20th year, it has hired Chris Kay to a newly created role as 72andSunny International President, reporting to Global CEO, Evin Shutt

Kay will be responsible for the 72andSunny offices based in Europe and Asia Pacific working with clients such as Google, TikTok, Indeed, TacoBell, and Zurich Insurance. He will be tasked with driving those offices' output and ambition with the region’s leaders, global client partnerships, and any future growth markets, innovation and partnership opportunities. Kay is a boomerang, having served as a Partner and Managing Director for 72andSunny Los Angeles and also the founding President of the 72andSunny APAC offices in 2017.

Most recently Kay was the CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi London and Head of the Publicis Creative Practice, where he lead the reinvention of the 52 year old Saatchi brand as it became one of the top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Europe by Fast Company, and went on a new business growth spree picking up Subway, Marriott International, Churchill, Brewdog, and the UK pitch of the decade for the John Lewis, amongst others. In his Publicis Creative Practice role, Kay was the CEO overseeing Leo Burnett, Turner Duckworth, Publicis Poke, Digitas, Octopus, amongst others, with Leo Burnett becoming Agency of the Year in the UK twice in succession.

Kay, who rejoined 72andSunny in January 2024 to help lead Global Innovation was also previously the Head of Marketing for Manchester City Football Club as they became a global brand. Additionally, he is a member of the invite only Fast Company Executive Board and an Industry Professor at the University Technology Sydney.
