International production studio 1stAveMachine have signed London based British-Jamaican Director Ricky Rxse for representation in the UK for commercials and globally for music video.

With a passion for capturing and documenting moments in time since primary school, Rxse has identified and finessed his own unique style of creating pieces that showcases the black experience in a balanced way. His pieces provide an alternative perspective to the stereotypical narratives that might often be seen in mainstream media, with a sophisticated elegance and grace. His first film, Whispers in the Shade, is about ethnic and black fathers and their role in society.

He has collaborated with a wide range of creative brands and individuals, including the V&A, Nike, Vogue, Land Rover, Burberry, Spotify and YouTube, and has been interviewed in German Vogue.

Kerry Smart, MD & EP 1stAveMachine London said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Ricky onto the 1stAve roster.  His work exudes aesthetic pleasure with a powerful & authentic tone of voice.  I'm excited to continue that journey with him and build a beautiful body of work together.”
