Stam has been part of 100% since its early days, and now, with both Stam and 100% having grown and evolved, this partnership couldn't be more perfectly timed, bringing a fresh new vision to life.
Stam’s work brings an authentic and unfiltered perspective to life’s intricate beauty. She captures the joys, the subcultures, and the perfectly imperfect moments in between. Renowned for her collaborations with brands like adidas, Nike, Vice, and Allianz, Maeve is now expanding into documentary filmmaking and photography. Driven by a dedication to meaningful storytelling, her latest personal projects reflect a deep commitment to sharing genuine narratives.
Her latest documentary that’s currently in production, Gaucha, dives into the heart of the Gaucho community in South America. The tradition, celebrated for its horseback culture and spirit of independence, remains a male-dominated world. In Stam’s documentary, we follow Mariela, a 40-year-old mother challenging centuries-old tradition by becoming a Guacha, the female counterpart to the legendary Argentinian Guacho.
Reflecting on her return to 100%, Stam shares, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be back! 100% was my foundation as an emerging photographer, and after all these years , it’s great to join forces once more. Stam sees exciting potential within 100%’s fiction, scripted, and commercial departments. She explains, “100% brings strong expertise in film, documentary, and photography. It feels like home, especially as I keep expanding my work across these mediums and dive deeper into storytelling. I can’t think of a better place to explore this journey. I’m proud to be part of their roster and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!”
Gijs Determeijer, partner at 100% says, “Maeve is one of the coolest and funniest friends we have and a great photographer to work with. We have been working together for over a decade, we both started our careers when we were babies, and some years ago we parted ways for a little, even though we kept working together off-roster. She’s working on a lot of projects like Gaucha and an upcoming photobook about the Greek Island Tinos, both are stunning, personal and gorgeous projects and show that she has grown immensely as a photographer and director. We have grown too, it feels like the perfect moment to explore our future together.”
