In a world where we have had reality TV shows like My Dog is Fatter than Me and Paris Hilton's British Best Friend, it's amazing we've never had one where they just strap a camera to a trolley as people do their weekly shops.

Luckily, Chemistry are addressing that wrong with TrolleyCam, directed by Ken Wardrop of Antidote. Across six 60-second spots [which we've compiled into one 6-minute film above] we get to see the banter, eccentricities, and rituals of everyday Lidl customers in Ireland.

Chemistry planning director Sinead Cosgrove sums up the appeal of the ad: "

“TrolleyCam’s charm lies in its honest and effortlessly enjoyable insight into an activity that affects us all. We see the fascinating and varying dynamics; from a mother fending off her children’s pleas for fast food to a couple expecting a baby stocking up on supplies – many of whom are pleasantly surprised at how little their full shop cost at Lidl.”
