This World Water Day, 663 million people have no easy access to clean water. One Water are drawing attention to this with a series of water bottles that make the liquid inside look dirty.

The bottle, which is currently being trailed, is tinted with a yellow-brown colour to make the water inside look like the unclean water hundreds of millions around the world have no choice but to drink.

This new design draws attention not only to the plight of these people, but also One Water's position in the marketplace as a brand that raises money for water projects across the world, with an estimated £15 million raised by the company by summer 2017.

“It seems counter-intuitive to be trying to sell a bottle of water that looks dirty," said One Water founder Duncan Goose, "but we think it’s a useful moment of reflection in our busy days and an opportunity to support a business that pours its profits into clean water for everyone rather than into the bank accounts of corporations.”
