Moonwalking with Treatment-Teaching Literature
Ghostwriters The Moon Unit launch a new book to answer unanswered questions about pitching and treatment-writing.
If you’ve ever experienced writer’s block or struggled to voice your idea, have you considered help from a ghostwriter?
While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, The Moon Unit – an internationally secretive round-the-clock ghostwriters’ community – writes anonymous pitches and treatments for commercials. Read more about the community and its owner here.
Their latest project? Launching an e-book about writing great treatments aimed at helping progressive TV commercial directors.
Written in a self-help style, the Pitch Perfect – How to write brilliant treatments book is available for free on The Moon Unit's website as a downloadable manual that can be copied, printed and shared.
The 30-page book is designed to help, inform and inspire upcoming directors - and of course, to get them more work.
The mini-guide answers key questions about the industry, such as how to face the industry, how to write a good treatment and whether ghostwriting is cheating… (which was answered ‘Yes’ but justified through the collaborative spirit of the film industry).
