Following on from the Marmite Rescue spot of 2013, the adam&eveDDB campaign which, unlike the spread, was loved by everyone is back with a funny docu-style teaser from PR agency W Communications, previewing a date which falls later this month.

Two years on and it seems the case continues with unsuspecting members of the public being pounced upon to face their crimes of neglect towards their unwanted jars of Marmite.

Created in the style of a spoof animal rescue show the original piece follows rescuers as they entered the houses of the neglected spreads and saved them.

This latest offering for the savoury spread is a latest 60-second spoof designed to further reinforce the issue and raise awareness of the concept.

Released on Marmite’s social media channels this week, a week ahead of the official TV spot airing (on 12 January), the teaser aims to warn of the impending ‘full-scale Marmageddon’.

Supporting the film will be a digital campaign across social media which will feature an evolving and interactive social news feed designed to heighten awareness of Ending Marmite Neglect while inviting consumers to join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter using #MarmiteNeglect.
