As the 61st Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity begins we know that what’s about to ensue is a week-long booze binge of social events, parties and get-togethers, but aside from that and within the walls of the Palais de Festivals, the real reason we are all here in the South of France is to win – or speculate on who wins in our case – a prestigious Lion trophy.
